Are you testing subliminal messaging in your podcast? If not then holy crap this is an amazing podio-book. I started listening a few weeks ago and this was the first episode I actually had to wait for… it was torture. I don’t know how I’ll survive the summer hiatus! keep up the amazing work Chris!
thanks for the episode. You did make us wait!
One nitpick: when Daniel jumps the vampire elder, he shouts.
NOOOOO…. Please remember: Daniel is a trained operative. As a rule, when you attack an opponent from where she can’t see you, you don’t advertise.
***SPOILER WARNING!***
Hi German-Listener,
Normally you’re right, but in this case Daniel’s plan depended on being able to fit the cable around Miriam’s neck without getting Fiona tangled up along with her. With Miriam’s teeth in Fiona’s neck, that wasn’t going to happen. Daniel’s shout caused Miriam to look up just in time for him to fit the cable neatly into place.
Cheers,
Chris
Actually Daniel is not a trained operative.
That’s true, Shawn. He’s trained in combat but not in covert ops.
grumble grumble… OK, you win.
But I’ll be back
You got me. I confidently expected that Daniel, Fiona and Brian would end up as thralls, but if the blood bond binds the soul, Danni might not be bound and would be able to spill the beans the next time she came up.
