damn you, sir Lester. Now I can’t wait for the next season.
a. Overall: I like season 1.
b. Getting it as a podcast is a different experience from reading it.
When I read, I read fast and I tend to skip a lot of (what I consider) verbiage. So my experience of a book is compact, and I’m irritated with the strands of the story that don’t really contribute to the flow of the story (I’m interested in).
When I listen, I don’t control the speed, and then there is the added bonus of the voices, and the soundscape.
c. It is a complicated story, with a lot of background info, many characters and points of view, and multiple plots.
Good storytelling.
d. I did miss the forensic investigator. And what happens to Jared?
e. I didn’t get the ending. Has the Miriam Bakhtavar been somehow saved? Or is it something else?
Keep listening next season. Things will, I think, become clearer.
Loved the Metamor City podcast. Now say hello to withdrawal!
One thing about this very last episode bothers me: I would have preferred to see more of the minor plot threads left dangeling. Like the re-opened Miriam existence. Just too much resolved for my taste…..
