Hello, Metamorphs!
How would you like to own one of these fine t-shirts?

These are Gildan Ultra Cotton Ts, 100% cotton, with double-stitching on the collar, sleeves and hem. I’m very pleased with the quality of both the shirts and the printing.
Orders for Metamor City t-shirts are now closed. If you missed your chance, watch the blog for future announcements; I intend things up so that people can order additional shirts on a print-on-demand basis. These will be more expensive than the CustomInk shirts, but if you really want to show your love for the podcast, you’ll have a way to do so.
Thanks to everyone who preordered — the count for this batch came out to 50, which I think is very respectable. I look forward to seeing your pictures once you receive your shirts!
If you have any questions, please email me at feedback@metamorcity.com.

We’re pressed for time this week, but Chris squeezes in a message from Amy Bowen complimenting the use of Adhesion’s music.
Next time on The Metamor City Podcast:
In the aftermath of the mission, the telepaths mourn their losses, Victor reaps his rewards, and Miriam makes an unsettling discovery. See you in two weeks — until then, keep it on the bright side!

My apologies to those of you who have had trouble getting the last two episodes in your iTunes feed. If you hit “Refresh” on your feed, they should appear normally. Failing that, try this: unsubscribe, remove the feed from your iTunes podcast list, and then resubscribe. That should definitely work; I just tested it myself.
Sorry for the inconvenience, everybody!

Okay, I’m officially going Bitstrips-crazy. But it’s so much fun!
As before, you can right-click and select “View Image” to see a larger version.

There will probably be more of these as the inspiration strikes me. Eventually I’ll make a home for them here on the site, but in the meantime you can visit my Bitstrips page to see them as create them. There are lots of other podcasters on Bitstrips, too, so you may see some familiar faces…

Today I discovered Bitstrips, a fun little web applet that allows you to create cartoon characters, pose them in different ways, share them with other people, and use them to create comic strips. Here I have continued my feud with P.G. Holyfield:

While here I have created a comic to introduce people to the basic story behind MAKING THE CUT:

(You can right-click on either one and choose “view image” to see it larger.)
Fun stuff, but I can see it taking up way, WAY too much of my time. ![]()

Yesterday I received the first shipment of t-shirts with the new Metamor City logo on them (designed by my friend Art Wright):

These shirts are for the cast members of Metamor City, and as con season heats up it’s a good bet that you’ll see them being worn by some of the biggest names in podcasting.
I want to make these shirts available to Metamor’s listeners, but there’s a catch: the company that I ordered them from only takes t-shirt orders in fairly large batches. (Some of you are already thinking about GeekLabel, I know, but at the moment they’ve informed me they aren’t taking any more custom designs, so until I hear otherwise we’ll go with what we can get.) I’d have to get pre-orders from at least 30 listeners in order to make these shirts available to you at a reasonable price.
So, here’s the deal:
So, that’s my deal with you all. Want a t-shirt? Send me a message and let me know. ![]()

Hey, folks! The interview that I did with John Scalzi at High Voltage ConFusion is now up at I Should Be Writing, Mur Lafferty’s “podcast for wannabe fiction writers by a wannabe fiction writer.” I had a lot of fun with this one — John is a very funny human being — and I think you’ll have a lot of fun listening to it.
ISBW Special Episode #29: Interview with John Scalzi
This is the second interview I’ve done for ISBW — in case you missed it, the first was in Special Episode #26, when I interviewed Kim Harrison. Her latest book, The Outlaw Demon Wails, is now available in hardcover and unabridged audiobook, so go out and get your copy today!
