Triple Threat Double Dip Contest!

Posted by Raven on 19 Nov 2009 | Tagged as: Contest

The first Triple Threat Contest is now upon us!
Your Mission:

  • 1: Download and print these bookmarks. (Printing on card stock is recommended but not required.)
  • 2: Cut out the bookmarks. (You may want to use a paper cutter for this to keep the edges straight.)
  • 3: Take to your local libraries and bookstores.
  • 4: Leaving a stack near the checkout gets you one point. Put a bunch inside books by Jim Butcher, E.E. Knight, Richard K. Morgan, Simon R. Green, and Kim Harrison for two points. (Do be sure to respect local laws and private property rights).
  • Take photos of yourself distributing the bookmarks at each location.
  • Email your photos to me at feedback at metamorcity.com.
  • Each point will count as one entry of your name in the hat, so repeat as many times as you like before December 20th.

The winner will be drawn December 21st.
Prize: Your choice of J.C. Hutchins’ sci-fi thriller novel 7TH SON: DESCENT or Gail Carriger’s urbane fantasy romp SOULLESS. The latter will be signed by the author, if you so desire.

Here’s your chance to double-dip. Check out Digital Magic and The Antithesis Progression for their versions of this same contest. Everyone who enters all three contests will automatically be entered into a second drawing – the prize this time being a package of local edible goodies from San Francisco and New Zealand!

BONUS – Triple Threat Interview on Blog Talk Radio

Posted by Raven on 09 Nov 2009 | Tagged as: Interview, Just For Fun

Three award-winning and award-nominated podcasters are teaming up to bring you their new novels on the same day. Philippa Ballantine revisits the world of the Fey in Digital Magic, Chris Lester returns to the world of Metamor City, and J. Daniel Sawyer brings back the dark conspirators and gamblers of The Antitithesis Progression with Free Will, the sequel to Predestination. On November 11th, three new, fully-produced dramatically presented audio adventures hit the podosphere – and tonight Podioracket brings these three insane characters together to attempt, probably in vain, to find a method buried beneath their many layers of madness.
